Custom Pet Portrait Quilts

Jan has added a few new items to her work. She saw a pattern for scarves in a magazine and decided to adapt it for quilting. She also had a friend ask her if she could make fitted mattress covers for her dog's beds. In the pictures below, you can see what Jan was able to create.

Jan made this theme quilt for the annual quilt challenge of her Material Girls quilt guild of Leonminster, MA. The theme is "My Secret Garden" and the measurement of the 4 sides cannot exceed 125". This is based on the photo shown, which was going around the internet/emails, and Jan thought fit this theme!

This is Jan's first "Artist Trading Card" created as part of a trading card group in her Women's Caucus for Art. Any art medium can be used. Jan used fabric for her first. The theme is "Intimate Spaces".

Jan made these 4 placemats using leftover scraps from a large 2-Border Collie
wall hanging she is making. The one on the upper right didn't piece/fit together
perfectly, but she didn't want to waste the scraps!! |

| Jan made these two 64" long winter scarves (featuring dogs, and Rotties predominantly) for Sue in NJ. She is keeping one and giving another as a gift. |

Jan made these two green and purple scarves as an experiment. She gave one to her twin sister, and decided to use the one with purple fringe as a table runner in her living room, which is green with purple accents!

Jan made these two baby mattress covers for Sue in NJ, for the mattress on which her 4 Rotties take turns sleeping!! She made matching teddy bears as well.
